Pre-compiled 64-bit binary packages for R-2.11.x for Windows

This collection is unsupported. Please compile from sources
yourself in case of any problems. Please ask the package maintainer
in case of any questions.

The binary packages here are compiled for use with the MinGW-w64 build
of R-2.11.1 patched.  Further binary packages are available from
the CRANextras repository at
http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/RWin/bin/windows64/contrib/2.11/
which will be included by default in the search for binary packages in
that build of R.  This includes the CRAN packages

   Cairo JavaGD RCurl RNetCDF Rserve XML cairoDevice ff igraph
   ncdf proj4 rcom udunits,

the Bioconductor package Rgraphviz and the Omegahat packages
SSOAP and XMLSchema.

Some of the binary packages depend on packages which can be found on
CRANextras.  In addition, the following packages depend on
Bioconductor packages:

  crosshybDetector sublogo




External software
-----------------

Almost all of these packages are statically linked to external
software or (RCurl, XML, igraph) include the DLLs needed.  The known
exceptions are

   Cairo RGtk2 cairoDevice

which need the bin directory of the Gtk+ installation from
http://www.gtk.org/download-windows-64bit.html (e.g. the bundle
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win64/gtk+/2.16/gtk+-bundle_2.16.6-20090912_win64.zip)
in the PATH, and

   Rgraphviz

which needs the system64/bin directory of the installation of WPG
System 64 from http://www.horizonchess.com/wpg64 in the PATH.
Alternatively, a much smaller subset which is enough to run the uses
of Rgraphviz in CRAN packages can be found at
http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/Rtools/goodies/Win64/graphviz64.zip
